EVERY CHILD
DESERVES THE CHANCE TO CHASE THEIR DREAMS.

With your help, more of them will.

IN THE LAST 40 YEARS, ONLY 4 DRUGS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER.

TOGETHER, WE'RE UNLEASHING THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO DRIVE CURES.

EVERY DAY, 42 FAMILIES LEARN THEIR CHILD HAS CANCER.

Every week, 38 lose the fight.

CHILDHOOD CANCER DESTROYS DREAMS.

HELP US DISRUPT THE STATUS QUO.

The mission of Bridge to a Cure Foundation, a non profit fund, is to accelerate the pace and success of childhood cancer research by unlocking the full potential of resources already available today. Our vision is happier, healthier lives for children who face the challenges of this debilitating disease.

THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN.

WITH YOUR HELP, WE CAN FIX IT.

The current approach to research is not working.

Cancer remains the number one cause of death by disease among children, and of the $3.65 trillion spent on healthcare annually in the U.S., only 2/10th of 1% funds childhood cancer research. In fact, since 1980, fewer than 10 drugs have been developed for use in children with cancer. It’s not surprising, then, that there has been no change to the survival rate for children with brain and other nervous system cancers for the past 20 years.

Your financial gift enables Bridge To A Cure Foundation to:

REMOVE BARRIERS
Provide a framework to capture the 100s of millions of pages of childhood cancer research, medical files, and treatments through implementation of a unified national Childhood Cancer Data Initiative and apply artificial intelligence to extract meaningful findings.

REWARD COOPERATION
Develop a reward and recognition system unique to childhood disease research—one that reinforces a culture of collaboration—from researcher to investor.

REINVENT RESEARCH
Simplify, sensitize, and modernize the clinical trial process. Drive efficiencies that increase speed and reduce complexity. Pursue simulated research and create an assessment process to qualify alternative medicine and therapies.

RESTORE HOPE
Balance life expectancy and quality of life, providing exemptions for terminal patients. Through our work, bring hope and healing to children with cancer, their families, and communities.

Robert Martin, child advocate, storyteller, and former international executive, is Founder and President of Bridge To A Cure Foundation, whose vision is to inspire kids to chase their dreams and to help those who can’t. This includes the hundreds of thousands of children whose dreams have been shattered or curtailed by childhood cancer. Martin understands firsthand the pain and sorrow that cancer inflicts on children and families. In seeking a cure for his granddaughter Clara, who was stricken with a form of brain cancer at 4 years old, the uncovered several serious shortfalls in America’s approach to medical research. Sadly, Clara passed away from the disease in 2017, but her courage and positive spirit continue to inspire Bob’s unique, multifaceted approach to helping more kids live happier, healthier lives through Bridge To A Cure Foundation.
